After the completion of "Christmas in August," the promise to dismantle Chowon Photo Studio was honored by the owner. However, the city of Gunsan recognized the significance of this place and stepped in to preserve its legacy. Thanks to their efforts, the studio was restored and reopened to the public, free of charge, welcoming visitors from near and far who wished to experience the magic of the film firsthand.
